This year the Hochschule Darmstadt invited to a two-day event “Automotive meets Science” of the Automotive Cluster RheinMainNeckar. For students and companies the opportunity was given to become familiar with each other.
The event was carried out within the activities of the researchCampus (FC3) “sustainable mobility”. The main focus was on the connection and deepening between the by Automotive Cluster organized companies and the scientists and students of the three FC3-universities.
The guests were welcomed by Ingmar Jung/state secretary in Hess. Ministery for Science and Arts, Prof. Dr. Arnd Steinmetz/vice president for research and scientific infrastructure of the university Darmstadt as well as Thomas Will/Chief Administrative Officer, Country District GG and Schirmherr ACRM.
The lineup included interesting presentations about the thematic blocks battery management systems, cryptography in the car and driver assistance systems.
As in the previous year the moderation was performed by Ms. Prof. Dr. Scheppat who is active at the university RheinMain in Rüsselsheim as well as chairman of the hydrogen– and fuel cell initiative Hessen e.V.
During the whole event the “marketplace of companies” served as a place for contacting as well as exchange of experience. Also CuroCon was here represented with its own stand. Numerous students used the opportunity to get information at first hand and further to present as an applicant.
