On September 2, the official kickoff for the WAVE TROPHY 2026 took place here in Zwingenberg. Ahead of the participants lay about 700 kilometers filled with electric mobility, innovative energy solutions, and exciting encounters.
After a welcome at CuroCon and a demonstration of the evTrailer from one of our R&D projects, the first leg of the trip took us to our next R&D highlight: a high-performance charging station for electric buses at the Bensheim train station. From there, the WAVE continued southward and eventually made its way to Switzerland.
As an engineering firm specializing in electrical and automation technology, we have been working for many years in the fields of electrification, e-mobility, battery and charging technology, as well as load and energy management. That’s why we were all the more delighted to host the kickoff event for an initiative that brings sustainable mobility to the streets in a very practical way.
