2008 comes in 8 gears

In 2008, in cooperation with ZF Passau, we will be offering two gearbox test benches for the new eight-speed transmission develop. After a long and intensive preparation phase, we are pleased to be able to realise the project together with ZF Passau.

The planned test benches for the new and highly innovative gearbox generation are expected to start operation in autumn 2008.

For the end customer, the new transmissions should be available on the market in 2009/2010. The first tests of the new generation of gearboxes already showed astonishing results. The finite nature of fossil fuels is forcing manufacturers and engineers to develop ever more efficient transmissions. ZF is rising to this challenge - successfully, the first tests promise savings potential in the double-digit range.
