Automotive meets Science

Forum for students and companies in the automotive supply industry and development on November 5, 2014 at the Rüsselsheim University of Applied Sciences

With the first event "Automotive meets Science", the Automotive Cluster RheinMainNeckar offered students and interested companies the opportunity to establish contacts.

The welcome by high-ranking speakers, including Mr. Boris Rhein, Hessian Minister for Science and Art, was followed by interesting presentations from the field of e-mobility.

Students and graduates presented successful final theses, and companies presented themselves as potential employers for a future job, internship or thesis.

The opportunity to visit the hydrogen technology laboratory, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Birgit Scheppat and her staff, was also gladly used.3

During the entire event, the "Marketplace of Companies" served to establish contacts and to exchange experiences. Hier war auch CuroCon mit einem eigenen Stand vertreten. Numerous students took the opportunity to get first-hand information and to introduce themselves as applicants in a pleasant environment.

At the end of the event, organizers and participants drew a thoroughly positive balance. The Automotive Cluster RheinMainNeckar has already signaled its willingness to continue the event in subsequent years.
