The test benches are used in 24-hour continuous operation and are nevertheless highly available and, above all, low-maintenance. Even after more than 10 years of use of the two 4HP20 function test benches, the technology is still up-to-date and is needed in China. The relocation to Ordos is a logistical and engineering masterpiece.

Not only did ZF have to pack and ship the test rigs so that they would reach Ordos undamaged, but they also had to be reassembled ready for use, despite sandstorms and a lack of patchy infrastructure.

But the well-coordinated team can be relied on and after 5 weeks of work, the relocation and recommissioning is successfully completed.
