Commitment to racing - The DART Electric Team

Cars don't always have to be just for everyday use, they can be used as a race car also right hp under the hood and arouse sporty enthusiasm.

Who is DART Electric Team?

The TU Darmstadt Racing Team is a non-profit association, which unites more than 40 students of the TU Darmstadt per season from different fields such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and computer science.

The current race car

In the course of a season or a year, the different skills and knowledge of the students are bundled to develop a high-performance racing car, always with the goal of participating in the Formula Student SAE. The current model, the epsilon2010, has already been presented to interested experts at a rollout. Our employees Mr. Joachim Petersen and Mr. Alireza Khosrobeik were there and were enthusiastic, because within a very short time the DART Racing Team managed to develop a powerful racing car.

The epsilon in electric

Parallel to the development of the epsilon2010, which is still equipped with a combustion engine, is the emergence of the epsilon-E, the electrically powered counterpart being developed by the DART Electric Team. CuroCon GmbH supports the research and development drive in this area and is an official sponsor of the DART Electric Team at Darmstadt Technical University.
